Impact of Personal brand on corporate brand

Personal branding is when the brand is positioned taking in account CEO or main founder for the brand underlying the qualities of that person.

Personal branding largely accentuate on usage of the name of a person to a product line or category. It is also referred to as self promotion or self branding. Giving a brand to a product is like naming your child and giving identification to it when being in infancy stage. Personal branding can aid in many ways to an organization; provided the person or quality of that person who is branded is in tune with the product offerings or organization else would be futile.


Business ethics create a corporate brand robust and such ethics come from individuals in the top management which than percolates further at various levels and employees therein. Thus if such ethical individuals are branded within the organization, it would develop a trust amongst stakeholders and would in turn help a corporate brand rejuvenate itself.
